I can’t believe I’m still in one piece after reading this.
I thought I’d die from a broken heart or suffocated by tears, angst, sadness. Not to mention I stopped breathing since the prologue. OMG!
It’s such a beautiful story, though, even with all that darkness that’s covering it.
This is the kind of book where I literally can’t tell you about it. Details about the hero and heroine, who they are, what they do. It’s worth 5 ★ just because of that. You just need to prepare yourself and let the plot twists, surprises and characters draw you in.
I don’t remember ever reading something like this one. I wasn’t prepared for all this drama. It says it’s a sexy standalone and there are some really sexy things about it (like all moments Trapper & Brea were together), but i don’t think it defines it correctly.
I think it’s the kind of story that opens your eyes to the ugly part of life, not just the pink fairytales i always dream about. I need books like this from time to time and I’m thankful for getting the chance to read one just like this. It’s very well written, concise, to the point, not too long, not too short, with every emotion possible. Simply perfect.
So i think you should take a break from all the other pink fairytales and just experience this one.
It’s published today and you can find it on AMAZON.
PS: I requested an ARC on Netgalley some time ago. I wanted to read it so badly and i never thought I’ll get approved for the arc, so I went on Amazon and pre-ordered it. Imagine my surprise having received the ARC last night, a few hours before my paid copy was automatically transferred to my Kindle. 🙂
So I guess i could say ARC received through Netgalley for an honest review.
