Let me introduce you to Jake and Tru.
Jake has it all: money, girls, fame, looks… you name it, he’s got it.
Tru is a music journalist, who happens to be Jake’s best childhood friend and they haven’t seen each other for 12 years.
So far so good, right?!
Well, the love triangle they’re stuck into (Tru has a lovely boyfriend), the relationship that was lost and they seem to regain and the passion for music makes this book worth a 4 STARS rating.
I loved the way it was written. The characters are well developed, they’re funny, sexy and smart. No complaints there. The action is flowing perfectly and it’s that kind of book i read all at once, without putting it down. It’s like they suck you into their life and story and you’re there.
However, I said 4 stars, not 5, because Tru was annoying with her indecision between Jake (who she says she loved all her life – so what’s the problem???) and her current boyfriend. At some point, she got on my nerves really bad. 🙂
