Can I start by saying that I can’t believe my own rating on this one?
If you haven’t read the first book, don’t continue on my review, since I need to insert some spoilers.View Spoiler »Ok, so I was truly disappointed by the course of action. It was surprising and infuriating to wait more than 3/4 of the book for them to be together again. I get that he needed to be sure he could raise the baby as his own and the whole situation was messed up and complicated. I really, really get that! But that didn’t make it a fun read for me. It was sad, actually. My heart broke for Gia and for Rush too, but I still wanted something else. « Hide Spoiler
It’s a matter of fact that things always turn out backwards for me. Whenever I expect something, the the total opposite happens. ALWAYS. No matter what. And it appears it’s the same with books too.
