Since I’ve declared March to be KA’s month, when I’m reading only her books and come up to the date with my favorite series written by her, here we go again. ๐Ÿ™‚

Jagged is Graham Reece & Zara.
He was a bartender, she a waitress in Gnaw Bone. They’ve know each other for 9 years. They were friends with benefits, though she was in love with him. She knew he wasn’t the kind of guy you could tie down, so she accepted him when he called her or show up to her door. He never stayed in a single place for too long. But he was there for her whenever she needed him.

Things change when Zara decides she can’t do this anymore and when she finds herself a good man who wants to marry her. She lets Ham go (that’s what she calls him). Divorces the guy after a few months.

It takes a serial killer to attack Reece, for him to realize that he needs in his life and what’s important. So he takes a job as a bar manager in Gnaw Bone and settles down waiting for his Zara to come home.

Under the false pretext of helping her getting back on her feet, he offers her a job as a waitress at his bar (just like they started) and his guest bedroom to sleep in. Of course, as you can imagine, at some point they become more than “roomies” and that’s when my pink fairytale begins. ๐Ÿ™‚

I must admit this book didn’t fill my heart as other KA books did before, but i liked it.
The best thing about it was Reece and Reece calling Zara his “cookie”. ♥๏ธŽ♥๏ธŽ♥๏ธŽ
I liked their relationship.
I’m also starting to think that even if i’m almost 30, i’m quite naive, since I need a character in a book to convince me that:

A man is not what he says, babe. He’s what he does.โ€

That being said, thank you Kristen Ashley.
Next!
