Exquisite (Exquisite #1) by Ella Frank

Exquisite by Ella Frank
Series: Exquisite #1

I should start by saying that while reading this book i had only one thing in my mind:

Bradley Cooper in Burnt.

This is a beautiful story about a doctor named Lena O’Donnell and a restaurant owner/head chef named Mason Langley. She is in her mid-thirties and smart, funny, sexy, sad, lost, numb. He is sizzling hot, also smart, also funny, bossy, caring, loving and he’s a chef. He knows how to cook delicious food. So basically, perfect.

Lena has lost her sister in a car accident 9 years ago and since then she’s been numb. Didn’t have any relationship, because she was afraid to fall in love and experience lost once again. But fate brings in her knight in shinny armor (my pink fairytale, remember? ), who saves her from all that pain, even if they have a hate/love relationship in the beginning. At least their banter is funny.

4β˜… because:

– it’s funny like this:

– it’s corny and cheesy, but it makes you say “awwwwwwww…….”

– the hot part it’s really hot

– the drama part (you know, when something bad happens towards the end, they fight and they they kiss and make up, so that we can all have our HEA) makes sense in this book. I don’t know how else to describe it. It makes you feel like it was supposed to happen like that, so that everything falls in place.

In the end, i would say that this is a book “Easy Like Sunday Morning”. πŸ™‚
