Scarlett Cole, where have you been all my reading life?
Let me start by saying I don’t consider this a romance novel at all. It’s not about love and pink fluffy things. Yes, the main characters are attracted to one another and they kiss, have sex and
Deep Cover is one of the most exciting, pulse-pounding stories I ever read. If you’re a fan on action thrillers, then you should definitely read this book.
If you want to learn about counting cards at Blackjack, or how to snap the cable ties from around your wrists if you found yourself bound, read this book.
If you’re curious how an FBI agent, who goes undercover in a casino, and a former SEAL Navy, along with the CIA and all the other three-letter agencies work together to bring down a money laundering and women trafficking operations, read this book.
The plot is structured, the characters are strong and smart and there’s so much action, that you won’t be able do breathe or put the book down. This is far away from my usual readings and it’s definitely not a pink fairytale, but I enjoyed it immensely.
