Nobody expected them to fall in love.
When Aria was given to Luca in marriage, people were sure he’d break her.
Aria feared the worst from a man like him.
A man without mercy.
But somehow she gained his love.
Love - a weakness a Capo like Luca shouldn’t risk.
When Aria betrays Luca by going behind his back for her family, she realizes too late that she might have lost what she’s fought so hard to get in the first place: Luca’s trust.
The trust of a man who never allowed himself to trust someone unconditionally before.
Can their love survive in a world of betrayal and death?

Cherry on top ⭐️

To be honest, I got a bit bored while reading this final part.
It takes us on journey almost from the very beginning, but with a huge focus on Aria & Luca’s relationship, their thoughts and feelings. I got bored because I already knew more than half of the story, dialogues and everything.
Only towards the end there were a few surprises, some good, some bad.

Key thing to remember: their infinite love for each other and even when things got scary bad, their love was still strong enough to overcome anything.

“Those words on your back, I mean them, Luca. I will follow you anywhere. Your darkness doesn’t scare me. I love you, your strength and loyalty, your tenderness and protectiveness. I love your gentle side, but just as much I love your darkness. I’ll love you in your darkest hour, I’ll love you even when you are weak, and if you need me to be your light, I will. I love every piece of you, Luca.”

“You still mark me,” she said with a hint of amusement, rolling on to her back. “Do you really think there’s anyone out there who doesn’t know that I’m yours?” I stroked the faint bruise on her throat. “You are mine,” I said in a low voice. “And it’s not them I’m reminding, it’s myself, because even after eleven years sometimes it still seems impossible that I have you, that I love you and that you love me.”

One thing is for sure now, after finding out that Fabiano (Aria’s little brother) left the Outfits in Chicago for becoming the Enforcer of the Las Vegas’s Camorra, I’m dying to start the next series
