Appealed (The Legal Briefs #3) by Emma Chase

Appealed by Emma Chase
Series: The Legal Briefs #3

Yeah, I guess I can’t settle for just 5 ★ on this book. There’s no way. Emma Chase says:
“My stories will be amazing. Everyone who reads them will laugh and cry and know how it feels to fall in love.”

“One will be a cowboy, one a knight and the other, a prince.”

Oh, Emma Chase, honey, you were right. Your stories are indeed amazing and i loved every single one of these 3 in The Legal Brief Series.

Ladies, this is book is the perfect ending to the series. It’s the most beautiful and romantic and sweet story ever. After Stanton in Overruled and Jake in Sustained, now it was Brent’s turn. Brent, my lovely, funny, smart, sexy, dirty Prince Charming.

He finds his happily ever with Kennedy, his childhood friend and the only love of his life. I loved how confident he was and how he knew he loved her from the first second they got reacquainted. No bullshit, no drama, no “what’s this feeling”. He knew he loved her and he knew they’ll be together forever, he just had to work a little to convince her, since at 17 there were some misunderstandings and some stupid shits teenagers do to hurt each other.

I loved him for talking to me like he was my long time friend.
“You may want to grab some popcorn. Because a good lawyer could argue with himself. Two attorneys going head to head is like a verbal MMA cage match with no rules”

I loved Brent for being honest.
“When i look at you, think about you, I can’t decide if i want to fuck you, strangle you, or just hold you in my arms. Usually all three. And if that’s not love, i don’t know what is.”

I loved Brent for his humor.
“Her bra gets snagged on the antenna of a passing car and waves majestically down from the street like the flag on a diplomat’s vehicle from some awesome country named Titsland.”

I loved Brent for find the perfect and the most silly nicknames for Kennedy: kitten, sweet-cheeks, peaches, Sparkles, buttercup and so on. 🙂

I loved Brent for his funny sexual innuendos.
“I know how that goes. First it’s ‘come see my moldings’…. then it’s ‘tear down my Sheetrock and take a look at my brickwork, Big Boy’. And if I’m lucky, you’ll let me peek under your carpet for some floor action that’ll make us both lose our minds.”

Call me crazy, but i loved this book because Emma Chase made it real some how. I believed her. I believe Brent. Also, I highly appreciated a perfectly written male’s POV. Lady authors sometimes get lost in their lady minds and their poor heroes sound like females sometimes. Well, that’s not the case here. Brent is all male, no question about it, so, Emma Chase, YOU ROCK!

“Trumpets-sounding, angels-singing, fireworks-bursting-in-the-sky kind of pleasure” was reading these 3 books.
