Prince Joe (Tall, Dark & Dangerous #1) by Suzanne Brockmann

Prince Joe by Suzanne Brockmann
Series: ,

I’ve stopped reading in the middle of the book, skipped to see how it ends and put it down for good.
I guess i was expecting something else.

In my opinion it’s a poor mixture of action and some romance. But the book was bought from the Romance shelf, so what gives?
I also decided i’m not such a big fan of third person narration. It feels like someone’s telling me a story which makes me fall asleep. To avoid that, you need to be a really good writer, which is not the case here.
So, you write a story about a Navy SEAL who is supposed to be trained by a PR specialist to pass by in public as a Prince of a (inexistent) country. Again, i’ve read about half the book and in all this time nothing really happens. Ok, they kiss once or twice, they plan to prepare him, but in the end he does the job by himself and that’s all.

Oh, there’s something else. It’s super super super poorly edited. You read a dialogue between some characters and in the same paragraph the story jumps to something else completely. It was too hard to focus.

Maybe i’m just wrong and i thought i was going to read something else, but i feel this is a 1* book.
