How do you know i didn’t like my book? It took me 4 days to read it, instead of a couple of hours.
Since it has tons of good reviews, i feel strange being the only one to rate it 1 star, but thank God we are all different, otherwise we will be bored to death, right? 🙂
I’m not a religious person. I’m actually agnostic, but i admit i’m quite afraid of whomever is up there. So reading this book i felt all sorts of things, from shame, anger to being perplexed and bewildered, or being afraid of God. I didn’t have any happy thoughts and i didn’t feel good not once.
I’m a little bit conflicted now, because since this is called fiction i should be able not to judge it, but i can’t. I should be able to enjoy the story, but i can’t, because it feels so wrong on so many levels, i’m not sure where to start.
Thumbs up though for the novelty. I don’t think there are other books touching this subject. having rough sex in the altar, using sacred oil (blessed oil for baptism and confirmation) for anal sex, the lamb endearment, masturbating in that booth where you usually go to confess your sins and so many other examples like that, made me rate this with 1 star.
